NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER THE SWEEPSTAKES

1. Sweepstakes Timing: The Best Western “Roadtrippin” Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time (“PT’) on June 15, 2016 and ends at 11:59 p.m. PT on August 3, 2016 (the “Sweepstakes Period”).
2. Eligibility: The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the United States and Canada (excluding Quebec), who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry. Employees of Best Western International, Inc. (the “Sponsor”), its respective parent companies, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, suppliers, distributors and advertising, promotional and judging agencies, and their immediate family members (spouses, parents, children and siblings and their spouses) and household members of each (whether related or not), are not eligible to participate or win. Void in Quebec and where prohibited by law. All federal, state, local, provincial and municipal laws and regulations apply.
3. How To Enter the Sweepstakes: There is NO PURCHASE NECESSARY to participate in the Sweepstakes. A purchase does not increase your chances of winning. During the Sweepstakes Period, you may visit the Sweepstakes section on www.roadtrippinwith.com, accept the Sweepstakes Application (the “Application”) and then complete the on-screen registration form, and submit an optional photo or video submission, to receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes for that week’s drawing and the Grand Prize drawing (the “Entry”). Entries will not be judged; winners will be chosen at random. For purposes of this Sweepstakes, a “week” is defined as beginning at 12:00 a.m. PT Wednesday and ending at 11:59 p.m. PT the following Tuesday. Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. PT on August 3, 2016 to be eligible for the Grand Prize drawing. Limit one (1) Entry per person, per email address, per day. Entries from one week will NOT be carried forward into subsequent weeks’ drawing(s), if any.
4. In the Sponsor’s sole discretion, the Sponsor may deem that any entry is inappropriate or unsuitable and, consequently, disqualify said entry. By submitting an Entry, you hereby grant the Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, assigns, licensees, and legal representatives the irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide right to use, reproduce, edit, market, store, distribute, have distributed, publicly and privately display, communicate, publicly and privately perform, transmit, have transmitted, create derivative works based upon, and promote the Entry (as such may be edited and modified by the Sponsor in its sole discretion) for editorial, commercial, promotional and all other purposes (including posting on any websites). Use of computer programs and other automatic means to enter the Sweepstakes is prohibited and will result in disqualification. Normal Internet access and usage charges imposed by your online service may apply.
5. Random Drawings: Weekly Prize Winners (7 total – 1 awarded per week during the Sweepstakes Period) will be selected in separate weekly random drawings from among all eligible Entries received each week, on every following Wednesday, beginning June 15, 2016 through August 10, 2016. The Grand Prize Winner will be selected in a separate random drawing on or about August 12, 2016 from among all eligible Entries received. Drawings will be conducted by the Sponsor, whose decisions are final on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Odds of winning are dependent upon the number of eligible Entries received by the end of each day or overall. Prizes will be awarded and winners will be notified by e-mail/mail.
6. Prizes and Approximate Retail Values (“ARV”): Grand Prize (1): five (5) nights’ accommodations for one (1) at any Best Western® branded hotel located in the United States or Canada (awarded in the form of 180,000 Best Western Rewards® points), a $1,000 (USD) MasterCard® gift card, and a $500 (USD) Sponsor-specified gift card. You must have a Best Western Rewards account to receive the Rewards points portion of the Grand Prize. Free Best Western Rewards enrollment can be completed by visiting www.bestwesternrewards.com. Points will be placed into the winner’s account electronically within 7 – 10 days after winner verification. All Best Western Rewards program terms and conditions apply. Weekly Prizes (7 – 1 awarded per week): One (1) $100 Best Western Travel Card®. All Travel Card rules apply, and an expiration date may apply. Visit www.bestwestern.com for complete Travel Card terms and conditions. Limit one (1) Weekly Prize per person. Prizes are nontransferable and no substitutions of prizes by winners are allowed. All federal, state, local, municipal and provincial taxes are the sole responsibility of the winners. Total ARV of all prizes is $3,200 (USD).
7. General Rules: By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor. Potential winners will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and a liability/publicity release (where permitted by law) (or if a Canadian resident, a Declaration of Compliance) within ten (10) days of notification attempt or the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected. Weekly Prize Winners will be contacted via email and will need to provide their mailing information in order to receive their prize. If a winner is a Canadian resident, he/she must answer unaided a time-limited arithmetic skill-testing question as a condition to receiving a prize. Return of prize or prize notification will result in disqualification and an alternate may be selected. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor and its agencies to use winner’s name (and city, province or state in which they reside) and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Sweepstakes materials and these Official Rules, these Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control. Entries become the exclusive property of the Sponsor and are subject to the terms set forth in the Sponsor’s privacy policy available at www.bestwestern.com. The Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, Internet Service Provider (ISP), or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled or delayed electronic communications caused by the user or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the application or the Sweepstakes or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the Entries in the Sweepstakes or for any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from participation in, accessing or downloading information in connection with the application or the Sweepstakes. In the event of a dispute as to any Entry, the authorized account holder of the account used to register will be deemed to be the entrant. The authorized account holder is deemed the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, service provider, or other online organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder of the account associated with the Entry. Proof of entering information via the application does not constitute proof of delivery or receipt of such information. The Sponsor is not responsible for the failure of any email or Entry to be received by Sponsor on account of technical problems or congestion on the internet or at any website. The Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the Entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or the application; violates these Official Rules; or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes or the application may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. The Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes or the application, then the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel the Sweepstakes and select the applicable winners in a random drawing (or random drawings) for the day(s) at issue and overall from among all eligible Entries received prior to cancellation. By participating in the Sweepstakes, the entrant agrees that Sponsor (and its subsidiaries, affiliated companies, agents, retailers, advertising and Sweepstakes agencies, and members, and all of their respective shareholders, officers, directors, employees and assigns, members, representatives and agents), will have no liability whatsoever for, and will be held harmless for any liability, any bodily injury, loss, cost or damages of any kind to persons, including death and property, damages sustained due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from Entry creation, the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize or parts thereof, if applicable, or participation in the Sweepstakes or participation in any Sweepstakes or related activity. Entrants hereby represent and warrant that they have read these Official Rules and are fully familiar with its contents.
8. Governing Law & Venue: The Arizona courts (state and federal) shall have sole jurisdiction of any controversies regarding this Sweepstakes, and the laws of the state of Arizona in the United States shall govern the same. Each entrant waives any and all objections to jurisdiction and hereby irrevocably submits to the venue of those courts within the state of Arizona in the United States.
9. Winners List: For the names of the winners, United States residents, send a stamped, self-addressed envelope (Canadian residents, send a 3” x 5” paper with your name and complete address), by August 19, 2016, to: Best Western “Roadtrippin” Sweepstakes Winners, 6201 North 24th Parkway, Phoenix, AZ 85016 USA, Attn: Marketing Department.

The Sponsor reserves the right to change Best Western Rewards program rules, regulations, travel awards and special offers at any time without notice, and to end the Best Western Rewards program with six (6) months’ notice.
